Who we are:

The Kabbalah Centre is a non-profit organization leading the way in making Kabbalah understandable and relevant in everyday life. The Centre was founded by Rav Yehuda Ashlag in 1922 and now spans the globe with brick-and-mortar locations in more than 40 cities as well as an extensive online presence. Our funds are used in the research and development of new methods to make Kabbalah accessible and understandable. ( Kabbalah.com )

What We Do:

We translate and publish kabbalistic texts, develop courses, classes, online lectures, books, and audio products; and provide one-on-one instruction. As the principles of Kabbalah emphasize sharing, we provide a volunteer program so that our students can participate in charitable initiatives.

How We Teach:

For every student, there is a teacher.

Our goal is to ensure that each student is supported in his or her study. Teachers and mentors are part of the educational infrastructure. We have more than 300 teachers worldwide and a study program for their continuing development.  Our teachers give instruction in physical locations around the world, by phone, in study groups, and online through Webinars, and support self-directed study available in audio format or online.

Kabbalah University (ukabbalah.com):

Kabbalah University is an online university providing lectures, courses, and events in English and Spanish. This is an important link for students in 70 countries, who want to study Kabbalah but don't have access to a Kabbalah Centre in their community.

Kabbalah Publishing:

Each year, we translate and publish some of the most challenging kabbalistic texts for advanced scholars including the Zohar, Writings of the Ari, and the Ten Luminous Emanations with Commentary. We synthesize this wisdom into beginner- and intermediate-level books, which are distributed around the world and published in more than 30 languages.

Kabbalah Museum (kabbalahmuseum.org):

We gather and preserve original kabbalistic texts and rare manuscripts and make these texts available online for students and scholars to view. These important texts enable us to continue to lead the way in the education of Kabbalah.

What We Teach:

The Kabbalah Centre is unique in its endeavor to teach Kabbalah as a practical and usable methodology for living a fulfilled life. The key principles of Kabbalah, as taught by The Centre are:

1. Sharing is the purpose of life: When we share, we connect to the force of energy that Kabbalah calls the Light the Infinite source of Goodness, the Divine Force, the Creator, we overcome our ego the force of negativity, and we grow and transcend into our higher selves. Sharing is the only way to truly receive fulfillment.

2. Awareness of the ego is important: It is a voice inside all of us that directs us to be selfish, narrow-minded, limited, addicted, hurtful, irresponsible, negative, angry, and hateful.  It is the force that tells us to do things that feel good in the short term, but in the long term brings us down. The ego is the source of all of our problems because it allows, even encourages, us to believe that others are separate from us. It is the opposite of humility.

3. There are spiritual laws in the universe that affect our lives. Life appears random because we don't know that a spiritual system exists. Like the law of gravity, there are spiritual laws in place. One of these is the Law of Cause and Effect: What we put out is what we get back, or what we sow is what we reap.

4. We are all one: Every human being has within him- or herself a spark of the Creator that binds every one of us into one totality. We are each responsible for the wars and poverty that exist in the world and none of us can enjoy fulfillment as long as others are suffering.

5. Leaving our 'comfort zone' can create miracles: Becoming uncomfortable for the sake of helping others taps us into a spiritual dimension that ultimately brings Light and positivity to our lives.
